A High Level meeting was held to discuss the issues related to Punjab Small Industries ad Export Corporation (PSIEC) stuck up cases and other matters. The meeting was chaired by IAS DPS Kharbanda, CEO Invest Punjab, Baldeep Kaur MD PSIEC, Kamal Bansal, PPCB, Jigyasa, PSIEC, Arshpreet Singh CGM and other senior officials were present.
Upkar Singh Ahuja President of Chamber of Industrial and Commercial Undertakings (CICU) coordinated the meeting to resolve the issues. It was decided that DIC will verify & issue certificate with date of production clearly.
Policy for clubbing and bifurcation of plots is being framed, CICU was requested to give suggestions, around 24 Struck up and disputed cases were discussed and action was taken in few cases whereas some cases held due to policy matters.
CICU delegates demanded one time settlement scheme with 8% simple interest to resolve long pending litigations and also stressed that cancelled plots without any specific reason should be reconsidered and resolved.
OP Bassi (President VIII Association), Honey Sethi (General Secretary CICU), Gautam Malhotra and Vipin Mittal (Vice Presidents CICU) and representatives of industries like Guru Nanak Rubbers Industries, Casper Industries, Verstile Enterprises, Suraj Udyog, Rosewel International & Others were also present.
