City based corporate Vardhman Special Steels Limited (VSSL) has come forward to support the District Administration by donating 30 umbrella motorized sewing machines for promoting skill development among girls and ladies of various rural areas.
On Monday 30 machines were handed over by Amit Dhawan, Senior Manager CSR (Admn) of Vardhman on behalf of Management of VSSL. The machines were handed over to Additional Deputy Commissioner Anmol Singh Dhaliwal by Amit Dhawan. ADC Dhaliwal thanked Sachit Jain Vice chairman of VSSL and Soumya jain ED VSSL, RK Rewari Executive Director for this kind support for skill development promotion.
VSSL as part ot it's CSR programme has been giving Sewing machines since 2017 to District Administration and even supporting the running of its skill Development centre at Mini Secretariat Ludhiana also since 2019.
