Directorate of Enforcement (ED) on Wednesday raided multiple locations in Punjab in connection with probe related to the Rs. 137 cr Guava Compensation Scam which took place in 2016 in the state.
It has been learnt from reliable sources that homes of two IAS officers of the Punjab have also been raided by ED in connection with this probe along as they were amongst the seniormost officials of GMADA (Greater Mohali Area Development Authority) which was at the epicenter of the Guava Compensation Scam. Sources claimed that house of Excise Commissioner Punjab Varun Roojam & Deputy Commissioner Ferozepur Rajesh Dhiman are being covered in the raid.
