ED is conducting searches at 19 locations in Delhi, Chandigarh, Punjab, HP (Districts- Kangra, Una, Shimla, Mandi, Kullu) in a case related to generation of Fake Ayushman Bharat AB-PMJAY ID cards and violation of the scheme against many hospitals including Bankey Bihari Hospital, Fortis Hospital, etc. 

According to ED sources many medical bills have been generated on such fake cards, causing loss to the exchequer and public. Two senior Congress leaders from district Kangra are said to be covered in this raid, one of whom is Nagrota Bagwan MLA RS Bali who also chairman of a HP Tourism Development Corporation, while other is Dr. Rajesh Sharma owner of a Shri Balaji Hospital, Kangra who also is a very prominent Congress leader. 

ED sources also confirmed that  premises belonging to both leaders are being searched and paramilitary force personnel are stationed outside the raided premises.
